If you are a fisherman that likes to give back to the community then consider a Chicago fishing charter. Chicago is a city where they are always on the look out to help their fellow man. The great waterways, though often a bit chilly, are a great way to reel in a great meal! The Chicago fishing community is known for their great contribution to medical conditions, those that have fallen on their luck and many others that may be in a time of need.

Getting back to nature is an important thing when living in such a fast moving city. Many have taken up the hobby of fishing so that they may find relaxation away from the fast moving world.

As with anywhere else the fish change by season and this is something you should take into consideration when planning your fishing trip. Primarily in January and February the Perch, Panfish and trout can be found biting in great abundance. The only issue with winter fishing in Chicago is the frigid weather. If a little warmer weather fishing is your please you may look to the Lake front and harbor and lagoon in April and May for Coho Salmon, smelt and crappie.
