Shore fishermen will be successful in this eastern region casting in areas such as inlets, bays, fallen trees, dams or other areas where fish have shelter and food.

Fishing in the southern region of Utah is great at the Sevier River that runs parallel to highway 89, and has great German brown and rainbow trout fishing. Panguitch Creek below Panguitch Lake and the Beaver River are both popular destinations for fishing in Utah.
